Magnolia Grove Farms

About

Our story

Always growing and trying new things, we’ve been experimenting with different crops since 2012. Although we started our personal garden in 2012, we’ve since upgraded to a larger farm — still small scale — in 2019. Each year we grew an over-abundance which we gave away to friends, family and our local gleaners.

With that in mind we decided to start offering a small select amount of vegetable orders for the 2023 season, to dip our feet in and offer those who are not able to grow fresh vegetables the chance to purchase them locally.

Your main farmer is Michelle and she’s been loving the growth of each season. Learning new things as we go along, but maintaining quality of everything we grow.

“A man may esteem himself happy when that which is his food is also his medicine.”

– Henry David Thoreau

The farm

Our farm is in the heart of the lower mainland in East Chilliwack with a beautiful view of Mt. Cheam. The sunrises are amazing here! If you come for a visit, you will meet several different farm animals that reside here. There are horses to greet, cats to be loved along with dogs who just want to play, and chickens happily laying their eggs or tending their chicks.

Expanded offerings

Here at Magnolia Grove Farms we also grow herbs, collect herbs in the wild, and infuse them to make our homemade soaps. We have a wonderful variety of soaps to offer that will support and nurture your skin.

While Michelle has been out travelling with her partner Len in the beautiful province of British Columbia, she’s stumbled randomly onto several different unique artisans who offer tasty treats. As a result, we’ve decided to partner with several suppliers, and offer some yummy goodies to our weekly community supported agriculture box subscribers!

We hope you enjoy the goods we offer to add to your home.

Thanks for visiting!

“What is paradise, but, a garden, an orchard of trees and herbs, full of pleasure and nothing there but delights.”

– William Lawson
